The obstacle is the way mug

Part of our Stoic mug collection, this work is inspired by the emperor Marcus Aurelius who wrote in his private diary that “The impediment to action advances the action. What stands in the way becomes the way.”

Whilst we tend to automatically try and make problems go away, what if you could use the obstacle as an opportunity (the idea of a moat around a castle comes to mind, and the way a fire grows stronger the more you throw obstacles in it’s way are a great analogies of how accepting fate can lead to a better outcome.
